Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The objective of the course it to deepen and improve all the language competencies. On the basis of reading professional texts, students should be able to interpret their contents, to formulute their own thoughts and to make their own conclusion.They should be able to choose a topic of their bachelor’s thesis within the field of their study, to think through its structure and write an introductory chapter. The stress is laid on the correct Czech language of their written speech.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to do the following: - to read and understand professional literature of the given field; - to work with professional literature, to quote sources, to interpret thoughts, to make conclusions; - to choose a topic of the bachelor’s thesis, to think through the structure of their thesis and to write an introductory chapter; - to present the chosen topic and an introduction of the bachelor’s thesis.

seminars in full-time study; tutorials in part-time study; compulsory seminar participation is 75% in full-time study, compulsory tutorial participation is 50% in part-time study.
