The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to understand the issues the selected private insurance theory and its connection with the   theory and policy in the field of social security, public finance and risk management. It ia   questions about the privatization of social security, the pillars of the social and private security.
Learning outcomes
After passing the course the student will be able to analyze individual parts of the systema and models of private insurance and social insurance in Czechia or in the world, as a follow-up to different welfare regimes. He/she will be able to write an expert paper e.g. on reforms of the financing of pensions or healthcare, too. The student will have ability to review professionally the government or MPs´ bills from the area of private and social insurance. We may expect tha he/she will be able to design e.g. a Czech pension reform. We expect also the readiness to international scientific co-operation.
