The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with a comprehensive view of the extensive and internally significantly structured issues of social security and its regulation. Emphasis will be placed on the legal regulation of social rights of citizens in individual systems social security rights, both in terms of the amount of benefits and the activity of the bodies of state governance in matters of social security benefits.
Learning outcomes
Student will be familiar with the basic principles of social security law in the Czech Republic and its individual subsystems. The stuident will be able to orientate in the legal regulation of the benefits provided in individual subsystems and in the organization and management of social security.

Lectures in full-time study; tutorials in part-time study; compulsory tutorial participation is 50% in part-time study.

Check up questionns, written test (15 questions - 12 correct answers needed to pass), essay on special topic.
