- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The aim of the subject is to form students' ability to apply theoretical knowledge in solving typical tasks during investigations. Furthermore, to form in students the necessary skills and habits in the analysis of investigative situations, the choice of adequate means of solving them.
- Syllabus
- 1. Characteristics of the investigation as a stage of criminal proceedings 2. Basic procedures in the investigation, its importance in the process of proof 3. Investigation as part of abbreviated preliminary proceedings 4. Peculiarities of investigating youth criminal activity 5. Peculiarities of the investigation of legal entities 6. Cross-border investigations 7. Investigation conducted against the fugitive 8. Specific investigation procedures in the implementation of operational search means 9. Operative search activity and criminal proceedings 10. Investigations carried out by specific OCTŘ 11. Legal framework and usability of information (evidence) obtained by procedures according to other legal standards 12. Peculiarities of investigations in connection with camera systems

- Theoretical training, lectures, seminar exercises, seminar work, practical exercises
- Assessment methods
- The course ends with credit. Credit will be awarded after passing the test. The required participation in exercises is for KS 50% and for PS 75% of all exercises. The criterion for completing the credit is a successful completion of the credit test with a minimum pass rate of 80%.
