The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to understand and explain the basic institutions of criminal law, in particular the concept of crime, the object and the objective side of crime, the body and the subjective side of crime, as well as the issue of complicity, participation or concurrence of crimes, principles and types of storage sentences, etc. the second part of the course are selected facts of each crime special part of criminal law, especially crimes against law and order. Finally course offers students the basic orientation of the   criminal proceedings.
Syllabus
  • 1 Introduction to the study of criminal law: basic concepts - sources of criminal law - the scope TZ - 2 offense - merits HP - immature crime - the object and the objective side of crime, the body and the subjective aspect of the crime - the age of the offender, the issue of sanity - fault - direct intention vs. indirect - negligence conscious vs. ignorant; 2.Okolnosti excluding illegality, abetting, fusion of crime - and 3 types of penalties - fine - community service, disqualification - 4 custodial sentences - house arrest - the principles of sentencing - punishment of juveniles - protective measures; 5 Penalty crimes against life and health - 6 crimes against freedom and human dignity - 7 offenses against property, 8 crimes against law and order - crimes of public officials - bribery - other public nuisance; 9 Fundamentals of criminal proceedings: The principles of criminal proceedings - subjects of criminal proceedings - 10 proof UNIT evidence - criminal proceedings: pre-trial - a trial - 11 ordinary and extraordinary remedies - 12 cases before a single judge - in juvenile proceedings.

Teaching methods
Lectures and seminars in full-time study; tutorials in part-time study; compulsory seminar participation is 75% in full-time study, compulsory tutorial participation is 50% in part-time study.
Assessment methods
The course is completed with a test of   20-25 issues with a particular focus on the general part of criminal law, partly in the form of question-answer, partly in the form of "multiple choice." 'success text is set at a minimum of 60% correct answers.
