The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The aim is explication of SAP product portfolio, SAP Netweaver platform and ABAP programming language focused on SAP ERP information system.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to explain:
- what is SAP;
- what's the SAP business position within a company;
- structure of SAP products;
- how to build the correct HW and SW infrastructure;
- basic business processes supported by SAP ERP;
Syllabus
  • 1. Introducing SAP, product portfolio ( CRM, SRM, MDM, BI, BOBJ, PI, EP, ERP ).
  • 2. HW a SW architecture of SAP, Netweaver platform.
  • 3. SAP ERP, business process overview.
  • 4. ERP business processes and data model part 1: MM, WM, SD.
  • 5. ERP business processes and data model part 1: PP, FI, CO.
  • 6. User and rights in SAP.
  • 7. ABAP programing language, usage of ABAP in SAP ERP, development concept.
  • 8. ABAP - terminology and development tools.
  • 9. ABAP - data dictionary.
  • 10. ABAP - development basics.
  • 11. ABAP - reporting.
  • 12. ABAP - data inputs.

Teaching methods
Lectures and seminars in full-time study.
Tutorials in part-time study,
Minimal required participation is 75% on seminars in full-time study and 50% on tutorials in part-time study. Students with lower than required participation have to fulfill additional study duties.
Assessment methods
Semestral work with presentation and a a written test.
