Person-Related Identification Information
  • Ladislava Knihová studied linguistics at the Philosophical Faculty of Charles University in Prague specializing in English and Russian languages. She earned her PhDr. degree in philology and teaching instruction at the same university. She worked in diplomacy for more than ten years. She is a respected EFL teacher. Currently, among her business partners, there are Harley-Davidson, DHL, Hunter Dougles and ING Bank. In recent years, she has earned high reputation as an online learning specialist having been named several times in the Top Ten E-learning Shakers and Movers in Europe. She has published numerous articles on learning technologies and took part in e-learning conferences (London, Sheffield). Ladislava focuses on marketing communications, digital marketing, and social media marketing as well as on teaching English as a second language. She specializes in English for special purposes (e.g. marketing, finance, banking, management, English for the EU, business valuation, accountancy, mechanical engineering etc.). She is a co-author of the English-Czech and Czech-English Glossary of Financial Markets Terminology. As an e-learning designer, she has won awards. Currently, she is studying graphic design and different software programmes of Adobe Master Collection. At the same time, she is a doctoral student (Ph.D.) at the University of Economics in Prague, Department of Marketing of the Faculty of Business Administration.
