Course objectives
The aim of the extension 'knowledge and skills of students in depth and a deeper understanding of the basic principles of the insurance industry. At the end of this course the student will be able to: - understand and explain in detail the function of individual characteristics of insurance - use information obtained for analysis and assessment of insurance products, - interpret statistical data related to insurance and insurance market

  • 1. The various types of insurance products in terms of their structure 2. Characteristic of selected segments of the insurance market 3. The micro-economic significance of individual insurance products and market segments 4. The macroeconomic significance jedntlivých products and segments of the insurance market 3. The structure of insurance market 4. The structure of the insurance industry as a specific 5. Individual entities within the insurance industry, the role of legal regulation of their activities 6. Penetrance 7. Factors affecting pojištěnost 8. Factors affecting the structure and form of insurance markets
