Course objectives
The student can describe the basic methods of providing investigative stop. Understand the essence of research methods; Methods can find and fixation of forensic traces; understand the methods of investigation. He knows the nature of the basic technical methods. It is able to evaluate the quality of traces secured in relation to the identification of persons and goods.   • 1. Dactyloscopic identification of persons, holistic and numerical approach 2. Portrait identification of people, portrait composition methods, software methods 3. Examination of handwriting, linguistic analysis of the text, methods of writer identification 4. Forensic biology, molecular genetics, forensic anthropology, forensic entomology 5. Forensic audio expertise, voice analysis, methods of identifying people according to basic sonograms 6. Forensic odorology, new methods of forensic odorology, instrumental odor analysis 7. Microtraces, methods of examining microtraces, methods of examining forensic pyrotechnics 8. Research methods in forensic trasology, Trasoscan 9. Research methods in mechanoscopy, optical and optoelectronic methods 10. Methods of investigation in ballistics, weapon identification, post-shot waste products, wounding effect of a bullet 11. Methods of examining documents and printing techniques, thin-layer chromatography as an examination method 12. New methods of forensic technical documentation, Spheron, laser scanning of the crime scene

Assessment methods
The course is completed with verbal exam. Requirement for granting credit - compulsory attendance at seminars (50% KS, 75% PS).Answer one of the 15 topic questions correctly is required to pass the exam.
