- The aim is systematic explication of selected problems of strategy and management of information systems and their discussion. Active mastering of the course content is realized through a case study of a decision support system draft / an optimization of a business process / reengineering of IS-ICT project management (alternatively).
- Learning outcomes
- Upon successful completion, students will be able: - to apply the principles of information management at strategic, tactical and operational levels, - to see the relationship of IS/ICT management with the enterprise's global strategy and process management, - to designe reengineering of ICT management and optimization of business processes.

Students with lower than required participation have to fulfill additional study duties.
The subject ends with assessment and examination.
Credit will be given for correctly solved the case study.
Course completion: Unconditional requirements are the case study, its presentation, and passing the test. Student is succesfull if his test is assesed by minimal 60 points of maximum 100.

- Rozsah povinné účasti ve výuce: Minimální povinná účast na cvičení / semináři v prezenční formě studia je 75%, na řízených skupinových konzultacích v kombinované formě studia 50%. Studentům, kteří nesplní povinný rozsah účasti, mohou být v průběhu semestru zadány dodatečné studijní povinnosti (v míře, která umožní prokázat studijní výsledky a získané kompetence nezbytné pro úspěšné zakončení předmětu). Způpsob zakončení předmětu: Vypracování seminární práce, její obhajoba a ústní zkouška.
