- Course objectives
- The objective of the course is to make students acquainted with the selected sociological concepts enabling understanding social change and development of the contemporary world emphasizing their relevance for the marketing communication. We will discuss main sociological theories of modern and post-modern society. The emphasis will be put on the such issues like modernization, globalization, and related consequences for social structure, social conflicts, advancement of knowledge based society, social capital, social controls and power, and sustainable development. Those who successfully complete the course will understand main sociological theories of modern society, the contents of such key concepts like modern, post-modern, and global society. One of the objectives of the course is also bring students to understanding of the vital relationships between social processes in a modern society and marketing communication.

- Course objectives
- The objective of the course is to make students acquainted with the selected sociological concepts enabling understanding social change and development of the contemporary world emphasizing their relevance for the marketing communication. We will discuss main sociological theories of modern and post-modern society. The emphasis will be put on the such issues like modernization, globalization, and related consequences for social structure, social conflicts, advancement of knowledge based society, social capital, social controls and power, and sustainable development. Those who successfully complete the course will understand main sociological theories of modern society, the contents of such key concepts like modern, post-modern, and global society. One of the objectives of the course is also bring students to understanding of the vital relationships between social processes in a modern society and marketing communication.

- Cíl předmětu: Seznámit studenty s vybranými sociologickými koncepcemi reflektujícími společenské změny a vývoj soudobého světa a s jejich významem pro oblast marketingové komunikace. Budou objasněny hlavní sociologické teorie moderní a postmoderní společnosti. Důraz je kladen na osvětlení problematiky modernizace, globalizace a s tím spojených důsledků změn sociální struktury, sociálních konfliktů, rozvoje znalostní společnosti, teorie sociálního kapitálu, problémy sociálním kontroly moci a teorie trvale udržitelného rozvoje. Po absolvování bude stuident znát hlavní sociologické teorie moderní společnosti. Bude rozumět obsahu pojmů moderní, postmoderní a globální společnost. Cílem výuky je přispět k pochopení souvislostí sociálních procesů v moderní společnosti pro potřeby práce v oblasti marketingové komunikace.

- Tato osnova je určena pro prezenční studium, průběh výuky pro kombinované studium je uveden ve studijních materiálech formou metodického listu (ML). 1. Vývoj moderní společnosti a jeho sociologická reflexe – přehled témat a teorií. 2. Sociologický přístup k společným jevům – specifika a vztah k marketingové komunikaci. 3. Moderní a postmoderní společnost. 4. Teorie globalizace, sociální obsah a souvislosti globální společnosti. 5. Vztah ekonomického a sociálního v moderní společnosti. Sociální struktura. 6. Teorie sociální soudržnosti, sociální spravedlnost, sociální konflikt, sociální rizika soudobé společnosti. 7. Symbolický, sociální a kulturní kapitál, sociologické teorie sítí. 8. Interpretativní sociologie, etnometodologie. 9. Znalostní společnost a možnosti vědy ve společnosti. 10. Gender a feministická sociální teorie.
