Cíle předmětu
The aim of this subject is:
- to deepen knowledge of principles of designing Information Systems (IS).
- to deepen knowledge of methodologies and techniques used in designing of IS including managing projects of IS.
Výstupy z učení
After passing this course will the students be able:
- to explain the principles of systems analysis and systems design
- to explain different methodologies used in the process of designing of IS
- to describe and explain the principles of managing projects of IS
- to understand the problem of linking ICT projects to the business plan
- to design information and knowledge support for processes within an organization.

Výukové metody
Lectures in full-time study.
Managed consultations and tutorials in part-time study.
The course combines traditional methods of academic teaching and innovative methods of creative and experiential learning:
Conventional teaching methods
lecturing, briefing
Activating methods
discussion, heuristic methods, situational methods of and staging methods, business games
complex methods
group and cooperative learning, individualized learning, critical and systems thinking, brainstorming, collaborating in teams, computer-assisted simulation modeling and experimentation.
Metody hodnocení
Minimal required participation is 75% in full-time study and 50% on tutorials in part-time study. Students with lower than required participation have to fulfill additional study duties. Course completion: Credit Credit will be given for correctly solved the case study.
