Course objectives
After completing the course the student is able to produce a final work in accordance with guidelines VŠFS, with the principles of ethics, creative work. Will be ready to defend this thesis before the commission of the final state exam.
Syllabus
  • 1. Importance, structure, theme and rules elaboration of the diploma thesis (DT(.
  • 2. Assignment of DT - the structure and content of the text, form processing literary sources, deadlines.
  • 3. Object, objective and scientific work methods and their application in the creation of the diploma thesis, formulation of hypotheses.
  • 4. Structure of the Introduction, the principles used in processing.
  • 5. Text section, range, standard page, text structure and its layout.
  • 6. Conclusion of the thesis, a summary of achievements, evaluate this target.
  • 7. Sources and information resources, retrieval, processing studies and scientific texts, forms of links and quotes used information sources.
  • 8. Formal form DT - work with templates, fonts, contents of the thesis, information on front plate.
  • 9. Graphical elements - integration into the diploma thesis and their identification, attachments.
  • 10. Ethics in creative work, compliance with other papers, plagiarism.
  • 11. Intention of the thesis - the content and form.
  • 12. The process when submitting DT, printing and binding, defense of the diploma thesis preparation of presentation.

Teaching methods
Seminars in full-time study, tutorials in part-time study. Compulsory seminar participation is 75% in full-time study , compulsory tutorial participation is 50% in part-time study.
Assessment methods
The course is completed with a credit based on handing in the Assignment of the DT and the basic text of the Introduction DT. The management of the faculty can set further conditions for awarding a credit. The credit can be awarded exclusively by the teacher of the subject, not by the DT supervisor.
