Cíle předmětu
The course Specifics of Family Business will point out the areas that are unique for the management of family businesses and family. The intention is to create preconditions for the development of students' managerial skills and motivation for possible participation in the intergenerational transfer of a family business. Students can set up own family business, can continue in the family business, look for a job in family businesses. So it is appropriate to introduce them to an environment in which the interaction of family, individual members, the business itself and asset management is a complex system with significant implications for conflict management through open communication. The basis of the family is the emotional aspect, belonging and communication inwards. The family company is based on concrete results, rational facts, substantiated information, is open to its business partners, customers, communicates communication outwards. The task of the family is mutual encouragement, help, tolerance and education. In the business, rivalry, making profits are more appreciated, and more than education, they focus on developing professional skills.
