Course objectives
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject is to give a comprehensive view of the insurance of entrepreneurs in all contexts with an emphasis on this insurance issue. At the end of the course the student will be able to explain basic insurance of entrepreneurs, will be able to understand the products for entrepreneurs and their use for their necessary practice.

  • 1. Introduction to entrepreneurs insurance 2. Risk management at the level of those interested in insurance for entrepreneurs. Estimation of damages and insurance products in insurance for entrepreneurs. 3. Insurance and risk management in brokerage shop, demand, offer, risk report. 4. Insurance NOS §§ 2758-2872 5. Damage insurance NOS §§ 2811-2820 6. Obligation insurance NOS §§ 2821-2823 7. Property insurance NOS §§ 2849-2855 8. Liability Insurance NOS §§ 2861-2867 9. Compensation of property and non-material damage according to NOS 10. Insurance of statutory bodies. 11. Other risks - special products.

Teaching methods
Teaching takes the form of managed group consultations in a combined form of study. Minimum obligatory attendance in managed group consultations in combined form of study 50%. Students who do not fulfill the mandatory scope of attendance may be awarded additional study duties during the course of the semester (to the extent that they will prove their learning outcomes and acquired knowledge).
Assessment methods
Students will prepare a seminar work in a range of 3-6 pages on the recommended subject of the lectures and will be sent to the teacher in electronic form at: milan.hradec@seznam.cz. The submission of the work in electronic form to the mentioned address and in written form at the last controlled group consultation of the teacher is a condition for passing an oral exam.
