N2  - The result of many researches and theoretical works is the refinement of the content of the category of financial literacy and a more detailed identification of its level in various conditions including the factors that influence it. The aim of our research was to find out the level of the young people´s financial literacy in the Czech Republic in the post-covid era and to verify the influence of the selected factors. To find out the level of the financial literacy and the influence of the selected factors we used the method of questionnaire survey which included questions of different forms based on the structure definition of financial literacy made by OECD. The target group were the students of the last years of the primary and the secondary schools and the universities. The secondary schools and universities were of various professional orientations. In order to determine the factors which influence the level of financial literacy the students from different regions and cities were adressed. The results confirmed our hypothesis that there are some differences in the level of financial literacy as a results of the students age. The importance of professional orientation was not confirmed. As an important factor emerged regional specificities: students from larger cities and more industrially developed regions showed a higher level of financial literacy.
