Dynamický vývoj podnikatelského prostředí podmíněný politickými, sociálně-ekonomickými, a především technologickými faktory neustále mění marketingové prostředí. Dramatické změny pozorujeme z hlediska generačních proměn, neboť marketing pro zákazníky patřící do generace Baby Boomers a generací X a Y je jiný než marketing pro generace Z a Alpha, a to především z hlediska využívání nových komunikačních technologií. Hybridní komunikační mix s bohatým výběrem komunikačních formátů, kanálů a platforem se dnes již stává nutností. V neposlední řadě dochází ke změnám chování digitálních zákazníků. Mění se jejich priority při získávání a konzumaci informací. Samozřejmým očekáváním je, že mohou pracovat tzv. „na dálku“ a „on-the-go“ prostřednictvím mobilních aplikací. Odborná monografie Moderní marketingové trendy se zaměřuje na 4 tematické oblasti: 1. Teoretická východiska marketingu jako behaviorální vědy – dobové i aktuální souvislosti. 2. Globální trendy a souvislosti v moderním marketingu. 3. Aplikace moderních marketingových aktivit do vybraných oblastí (neuromarketing, sportovní marketing, bankovní marketing, edukační marketing). 4. Nové trendy ve vývoji chování spotřebitelů. Výběr jednotlivých oblastí a jejich odborné zpracování představuje přesvědčivý důkaz o zásadní proměně zákaznické cesty a uživatelské zkušenosti na jedné straně, a současně o proměně marketingových strategií a celkového pojetí marketingové komunikace značek směrem k jejich zákazníkům na straně druhé. Probíhající změny na obou stranách jsou spojité nádoby a jejich charakter je natolik dynamický, že jej není možné zachytit, popsat a interpretovat v rámci jedné odborné publikace. Autoři jsou si plně vědomi, že odborná monografie „Moderní trendy v marketingu“ zachycuje přítomný okamžik a aktuální trendy, které se významným způsobem profilují na současné marketingové scéně a naznačují směr budoucího vývoje v této oblasti. Myšlenky, které odborná monografie přináší, jsou inspirativním zdrojem informací o inovativním zaměření strategického pojetí marketingové komunikace firem pro všechny zájemce, jimž leží na srdci udržitelný vývoj naší společnosti.

The dynamic development of the business environment conditioned by political, socio-economic and, above all, technological factors is constantly changing the marketing environment. Dramatic changes are observed in terms of generational changes, as marketing to Baby Boomers and Generations X and Y are different from marketing to Generations Z and Alpha, especially regarding the use of new communication technologies. A hybrid communication mix with a rich choice of communication formats, channels and platforms is becoming necessary. Last but not least, digital customer behaviour is changing. Their priorities in acquiring and consuming information are changing. The natural expectation is that they can work remotely and on the go via mobile apps. The professional monograph Modern Marketing Trends focuses on four thematic areas: 1. Theoretical foundations of marketing as a behavioural science - contemporary and current context. 2. Global trends and contexts in modern marketing. 3. The application of modern marketing activities to selected areas (neuromarketing, sports marketing, bank marketing, education-based marketing). 4. New trends in consumer behaviour. The selection of the individual areas and their expert treatment is convincing evidence of the fundamental transformation of the customer journey and user experience on the one hand and the transformation of marketing strategies and the overall concept of marketing communication of brands towards their customers on the other. The changes taking place on both sides are continuous vessels, and their nature is so dynamic that it is impossible to capture, describe and interpret them in one dedicated publication. The authors are fully aware that the professional monograph "Modern Trends in Marketing" captures the present moment and trends that significantly profile the current marketing scene and indicate the direction of future developments in this field. The ideas that the professional monograph provides are an inspiring source of information on the innovative focus of the strategic concept of marketing communication for all those who have the sustainable development of our society at heart.
