Leadership is one of an almost endless number of terms that many "use", but are not always clear about its content. This is partly due to the fact that there is no uniform definition of it. Leadership is often described as "a process of social influence through which a person is able to secure the help and support of others to achieve a common task". Understanding leadership lies in the interaction of strategy, vision and the environment in which the vision is realized through implementation plans. Leadership without the active participation of other people does not lead to results. A leader comes up with something new, gets others to it, and teaches them his approach. A manager benefits from current opportunities, a leader from future opportunities.
