In the context of financial crisis management, the role of learning and knowledge management among Members of Parliament (MPs) is critical yet often overlooked. This study explores how MPs in Europe utilize and manage their knowledge resources to address financial crises effectively. The research builds on previous studies, extending the scope to include MPs from all 27 EU countries. Despite the availability of supportive infrastructure and resources, MPs frequently encounter challenges due to unstructured and disorganized knowledge management practices. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study explores how MPs acquire and apply knowledge to manage financial crises. The findings reveal significant deficits in the structured management of knowledge within parliamentary systems. Despite a strong personal commitment to their roles, MPs often lack the necessary specialized knowledge and systematic support from parliamentary institutions. This study highlights the importance of enhancing knowledge management practices within parliaments to improve MPs' crisis management capabilities. By addressing these gaps, parliaments can be better equipped to handle financial crises effectively. The research underscores the need for a strategic approach to learning and knowledge management among politicians, advocating for more robust support systems and professional development opportunities within legislative bodies.

Navzdory dostupnosti podpůrné infrastruktury a zdrojů, poslanci často čelí problémům kvůli nestrukturovaným a neuspořádaným znalostem manažerské postupy. Pomocí přístupu smíšených metod studie zkoumá, jak poslanci získávat a uplatňovat znalosti ke zvládání finančních krizí. Zjištění odhalují značné nedostatky ve strukturovaném řízení znalostí v rámci parlamentních systémů. Navzdory silnému osobní oddanost svým rolím, poslancům často chybí potřebné specializované znalosti a systematická podpora ze strany parlamentních institucí. Tato studie zdůrazňuje důležitost zlepšení postupů správy znalostí v parlamentech s cílem zlepšit krizi poslanců manažerské schopnosti. Odstraněním těchto nedostatků mohou být parlamenty lépe vybaveny efektivně zvládat finanční krize. Výzkum podtrhuje potřebu strategického přístupu k učení a řízení znalostí mezi politiky, prosazující silnější podporu systémy a možnosti profesního rozvoje v rámci zákonodárných orgánů.
