The criminal police is and historically always has been an integral part of the modern concept of police forces, which ensure the protection of the population and social order, international relations on the territory of a sovereign state, but often also at the international level. The service in the criminal police requires specific requirements and demands placed on members, as this service is responsible for clarifying crime, catching the offender, securing the claims of injured parties and victims of crime in the given territory, including preventive measures. Members serving in the Criminal Police must master the necessary amount of skills and knowledge of law, criminalistics, including knowledge of many other scientific disciplines, taking into account the type of crime being solved, the offender, but also the injured party (victim) of the crime. The Criminal Police therefore has an integral and justified place in the system of police services, as it is mainly engaged in the area of crime, in addition to existing services such as Especially the traffic service, the riot police service or the foreign police service. The service in the criminal police expects and brings procedures mainly in a secret mode, in some justified cases even of an intelligence nature.
