Kniha je poskládaná z příběhů, které se autorovi za 50 let profesionálního působení v chemii přihodily. Většina z nich je zábavných. Ale některé jsou varováním, že takto se to dělat nemá. Pár z příběhů je až hororových. Chemie dokáže být nejen zábavná, ale někdy i velmi vzrušující.

This book is composed of stories that happened to the author during his 50 years of professional work in chemistry. Most of them are amusing. But some serve as a warning that this is not how things should be done. A few of the stories are downright horrifying. Chemistry can be not only entertaining but sometimes also very exciting.
