Článek se zabývá přínosem akademických pracovníků VŠFS pro rozvoj kriminalistiky, forenzních disciplín a bezpečnostních věd. Pokrok je výrazný v posledních dvaceti letech. V článku jsou stručně shrnuty konkrétní literární a vědecké pokroky profesora Viktora Porady. Je považován za jednoho ze zakladatelů bezpečnostních věd. Výrazně přispěl k rozvoji teorie kriminalistiky a forenzní biomechaniky.

The article deals with the contribution of VŠFS academic staff to the development of crim inology, forensic disciplines and security sciences. Progress has been significant in the last twenty years. The article briefly summarizes the specific literary and scientific advances of Professor Viktor Porada. He is considered one of the founders of security sciences. He significantly contributed to the development of the theory of criminology and forensic biomechanics.
