Zasílatelství je v občan. zák. upraveno v rámci smluv příkazního typu. Přeprava věci je upravena v rámci úpravy smluv o přepravě osob a věcí. Provoz dopravního prostředku je upraven též v rámci úpravy smluv o přepravě osob a věcí. Ustanovení o nájmu dopravního prostředku jsou zařazena v občan. zák. jako zvláštní ustanovení v rámci úpravy nájmu.

Freight forwarding is regulated in the Civil Code within the framework of contracts of the order type. The transport of a thing is regulated within the framework of the regulation of contracts for the transport of people and things. The operation of a means of transport is also regulated within the framework of the regulation of contracts for the transport of people and goods. Provisions on the lease of a means of transport are included in the Civil Code as a special provision within the framework of the lease.
