Thanks to the public administration reforms implemented in the European continent since the end of the 1970s selected management methods began to be utilized both in the Anglo - Saxony system of the public administration execution and in many countries involved into the continental conception of the public administration. The article deals with the most significant management approaches implemented nowadays in the selected Western European and Scandinavian countries. The research confirms the fact that conditions for the management approaches implementation in the Western European ansd Scandimavian countries public administration are now much better than in the second part of 1990s.
