Cecilia Malmstrom's invitation and evaluation (Member of the EU Commission). Over 170 people attended the conference, representing a broad spectrum of stakeholders from the European Parliament, smaller and bigger businesses, civil society and academia. I have received positive feedback about the quality of the discussions in the various sessions. In particular, whilst valuing the opinions of Brussels-based stakeholders, the Commission also sets great store by hearing first-hand the views and experiences of practitioners and stakeholders from across the EU.
