V odborném sdělení jsou uvedeny výzkumné vědecké aktivity zaměřené na aktuální problémové okruhy v procesu konstituování bezpečnostní vědy jako samostatného vědního oboru zejména v oblasti jejich teorie a metodologie v létech (2011-2018). Dále je pozornost zaměřená na korektní vymezení předmětu zkoumání bezpečnostních věd, rozšiřování a zpřesňování jejích kategoriálního aparátu, výstavba vlastního systému vědeckých teorií, zkoumání potřeb vědeckých poznatků a jejich transfer do bezpečnostní praxe.

The scientific communication presents research activities focused on the current problem areas in the process of establishing security science as a separate scientific field, especially in the field of their theory and methodology in years (2011-2018). Furthermore, attention is focused on the correct definition of the object of examining the security sciences, the expansion and refinement of its categorical apparatus, the construction of its own system of scientific theories, the study of the needs of scientific knowledge and its transfer to security practice.
