Bezpečnost – pojem, se kterým se lidstvo setkává zřejmě od nepaměti. V souvislosti s pojmem bezpečnost se používají i další úzce spojené terminologické obraty či slova, které v různých oblastech lidské činnosti mohou znít stejně, ale může jim být přidáván jiný význam. Těmito slovy jsou obvykle pojmy bezpečí, nebezpečí, hrozba, lidská bezpečnost, technologická bezpečnost atd. Terminologie v oblasti „bezpečnostních věd“ není ještě zcela vyřešena. Nabízíme čtenářům různé pohledy na definici některých entit, které jsou různými autory vnímány různě a chceme přispět zejména k pochopení obsahu klíčových pojmů „bezpečnost“ a „bezpečí“.

Security - the concept humanity has been experiencing since time immemorial. In connection with the concept of security, other closely linked terminological verbs or words are used that can sound the same in different areas of human activity, but can be added to other meanings. These words are usually terms of safety, danger, threat, human security, technological security, etc. Terminology in the field of "security sciences" has not yet been resolved. We offer readers different perspectives on the definition of some entities that are perceived differently by different authors and we want to contribute to the understanding of the contents of the key concepts of "security" and "safety“.
