The purpose of this paper is to analyze the barriers on the road to the EU capital markets union (CMU). According to the theoretical background of this plan (2015), the CMU is expected to contribute, on the one side, to a higher EU financial markets efficiency, and on the other side, to the optimal development and growth of the EU in future.

Cílem tohoto příspěvku je analyzovat překážky na cestě do unie kapitálových trhů EU (CMU). Podle teoretických podkladů tohoto plánu (2015) se očekává, že CMU přispěje na jedné straně k vyšší efektivnosti finančních trhů EU a na druhé straně k optimálnímu rozvoji a růstu EU v budoucnu.
