Článek se zabývá postavením hradského správce, jehož posláním bylo především soudit. Analyzuje kořeny vzniku této instituce, zároveň následný vývoj této instituce, který vedl ke vzniku klasických soudců. Zdůrazňuje roli hradského správce ve vztahu k centralizaci státu.
In English
The article deals with the status of the castle steward, whose mission was primarily to judge. It analyses the roots of the creation of this institution, at the same time as the subsequent development of this institution, which led to the emergence of classical judges. It emphasises the role of the castle administrator in relation to the centralisation of the state.
