The workshop was focused on the exchange of views of application guarantors and the research team on the method of solution internal (and external) peripheries from the point of view of public administration, especially on regional (provincial) and local (municipal) level. The basis for the negotiations on the part of the research team were the input materials. The intention was possibly. to correct the proposed procedure for solving the inner and outer peripheries in the general level i specific incl. formulation of measures to increase interregional cohesion. The event was structured into 4 blocks, with the focus on perception and access to the peripheries of individual levels of public administration and controlled structured discussion. The participants were introduced to the project itself with an emphasis on the innovativeness of the proposed approaches. External application guarantors and other relevant workplaces presented their contributions related to the topic of the workshop. An important part of the workshop was the discussion, structured into 4 thematic areas. The participants had at their disposal 2 background materials related to the initial stages of the project, namely: the design of indicators of a statistical nature for the definition of peripheries and conceptual issues of empirical research.
