Abstract
V roce 2019 přijala Evropská unie dvě směrnice, které jsou členské státy povinny transponovat do svých právních řádů do srpna 2022. Jde o směrnici Evropského parlamentu a Rady (EU) 2019/1158 o rovnováze mezi pracovním a soukromým životem rodičů a pečujících osob a o zrušení směrnice Rady 2010/18/EU a směrnici Evropského parlamentu a Rady 2019/1152 o transparentních a předvídatelných pracovních podmínkách v Evropské unii. Obě směrnice ovlivní úpravu pracovněprávních a souvisejících předpisů v České republice.
