Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to create the text of the first (general) part of the bachelor thesis and to write professional text including observance of the rules of ethics of professional creative work. Completion of the subject is a prerequisite for further successful bachelor work in the follow-up subject B_BPEM_2.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course the student will be able to: - to create the text of the first (general) part of the bachelor thesis focusing on the literary research and evaluation of the existing theoretical opinions, - elaborate the theoretical starting points of the chosen issue, - to write professional texts, including adherence to the rules of ethics of professional creative work.
Syllabus
  • 1. Choice and rationale of the form of the thesis and the method of examining the problems within the theme of the final thesis.
  • 2. Selection and study of literature and other sources, composition of the text of the first (general) part, proposal of the theoretical bases for solving problems of work.
  • 3. Elaboration of the text of the first (general) part, including a list of bibliographic citations.
  • 4. Analysis of problems and formulation of the bases for solution according to the stated aim of the work.

Teaching methods
TThe course takes place in the form of individual consultations with the supervisor of the bachelor's thesis during the semester. The content of the consultations is the evaluation of the results of the student's independent work in stages according to the Course Outline. If face-to-face teaching and consultation in the personal presence of the student in face-to-face and combined form of study becomes impossible, the teaching is replaced by a distance form of study.
Assessment methods
The subject is completed by the credit given by the bachelor thesis supervisor based on:
1) meeting the consultation agenda,
2) the text of the first (general) part of the bachelor thesis.
The conditions for successful completion of the course by ISP students are the same.
