The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The objective of the intensive two-term Czech language course is the acquisition of communicative skills on the level B1/B2. This means understanding lectures held in the Czech language, ability to write notes, ability to read a specialized text with understanding, to express in both oral and written form.
Learning outcomes
After completion of the first semester, a student will acquire correct pronunciation and intonation, basic professional terminology (microeconomics); he/she will enhance professional and common vocabulary, he/she will understand direct spoken communication, improve speaking and writing skills; he/she will manage to compile a presentation in Czech language and consolidate grammar structures.
