Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to understand and explain the Bank's activities in the field of the   Asset Management (Asset Management), with emphasis on the effect of   in   bank asset management UCIs.
Learning outcomes
Ability to use principles of asset management of securities with respect of return and risk principles.
Syllabus
  • First The theory of asset management (asset management) - types of property. The issue of investment (investor's square and triangle). Second The basic ways of measuring the yield, risk, liquidity and wealth. Rating and rating agency. Third Markowitz model of portfolio assets (the relationship between return and risk). The set of acceptable and effective portfolios in Markowitz and Sharpe   sense. 4th The so-called. derivatives as part of hedging and speculative transactions and their impact on profitability, risk and liquidity of the portfolio. Problems capturing derivatives   accounting. 5th Asset management, its uses and types of banking services in the region  . 6th Collective forms of collective investment and asset management (funds, trusts, etc.). Types of investment funds and analysis of the ways in which they invest. 7th Special types of funds and analysis of the ways in which they invest. 8th The hedge funds, their typology, function, etc.. Teaching methods
Teaching takes the form / lectures / seminars / workshops / full-time study / group consultations and managed in the form of study. Minimum mandatory attendance at seminars / workshops in full-time studies is 75%, the controlled group consultations in combined form 50%. Students who fail to meet the mandatory level of participation may be given during the semester additional study obligations (to the extent that will demonstrate academic achievement and acquired competencies necessary for successful completion of the subject). Assessment methods
