- Course objectives
- The main objective of this course is to acquaint students with the scope of control and inspection activities in security forces, with the constitutional limits of this activity, including the legal basis and with the implementing regulations. The course is taught from the criminalistic-tactical point of view, where emphasis is placed on the student's ability to apply individual criminalistic-tactical methods and procedures in control and inspection activities. At the same time, emphasis is placed on the ability to work analytically in evaluating information from control and inspection activities, including the subsequent procedural procedures of a service official with personnel authority.
- Learning outcomes
- The student of the course will have knowledge of the principles of individual criminalistic procedures and methodology of investigation of illegal conduct, in the field of control and inspection activities, in security forces. The graduate will be able to define the scope and justification of control and inspection activities in the security forces, relevant legal authorizations, implementing regulations, including general procedures for detecting and clarifying corrupt conduct. The graduate will clarify the characteristics of typical illegal conduct of members and employees of the security forces, in accordance with the criminalistic methodology, categorize and argue the occurrence of typical criminalistic traces, including the application of adequate detention institutes, leading to proper clarification of the matter, and explain the preventive nature of control and inspection activities.
