The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
After completing the course, the student will master the methods of statistical analysis of one-dimensional and multidimensional file, including the evaluation of interdependencies. They will be able to work with key characteristics such as moment characteristics, linear. Nonlinear, nonparametric types of correlation coefficients, regression curves, etc. Will be able to perform analysis of variance simple sorting (ANOVA). He will be familiar with cluster and factor analysis of data.

  • 1, Basic terms used in statistical data analysis 2. Advanced position characteristics, variability and concentration 3. Random variables, important discrete and continuous distributions 4. Normality testing 5. Estimation and testing of parameters 6. Analysis of variance simple sorting - ANOVA, Scheffe's method 7. Conformity testing 8. Dependence analysis 9. Regression analysis, simple correlation, nonparametric methods of correlation 10. Multiple regression, multiple and partial correlation 11. Cluster analysis 12. Principal component analysis, factor analysis

Teaching methods
Classic, group, interactive with presentation in MS PowerPoit. Compulsory participation in seminars is 75%. Participation in consultations in the combined study is 50%.
Assessment methods
Method of completion: credit. Credit will be awarded for active participation and elaboration of a seminar paper.
