- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the theoretical foundations of internal security of the state.
- Learning outcomes
- The output of the course is the student's acquired knowledge demonstrated in the oral exam.
- Syllabus
- 1.Security sciences as practical sciences (Bases and basic concepts of security sciences, basic concepts of security sciences) 2. Constitutional definition of state security (Constitutional Act on Security. The concept of security and its identification, basic concepts of security) 3.Internal security (legislation in the field of internal security) 4.Theory of security risks (concepts of security risk theory, categories of security risks, security risk management, 5. Crisis management system (extraordinary events and crisis situations, declaration of crisis situations, crisis management bodies. 6. Organization and routine performance of the service and the position of the Police to public administration bodies. 7.Crisis management of the Ministry of the Interior and the Police of the Czech Republic (resolution of extraordinary security events not reaching the intensity of the crisis situation, the position of internal security and public order in the crisis management system) 8.Crisis communication (process, goals, principles and rules of crisis communication, crisis communication of the company) 9. Information protection (basic concepts of information protection, development of information protection legislation, special means of protection of classified information). 10. Act on the Protection of Classified Information (meaning and structure of Act No. 412/2005 Coll., The term AI, interpretation of selected terms, types of ensuring AI protection 11. Protection of Classified Information from a Criminal Legal Perspective (Chapter IX of the Criminal Code) 12.Cryptographic protection (basic concepts and principles of cryptography, cryptographic material, cryptographic device, key material, password material, cryptographic document).

- Theoretical training, lectures, seminar exercises, seminar work, practical exercises
- Assessment methods
- The course is concluded by credit and an oral exam. Credit will be given to active participation in seminars. Required attendance at seminars is at KS 50%, and at PS 75% of all exercises. The criterion for an oral exam is successfully answering 1 out of 15 test questions.
