- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to develop knowledge and experience about the possibilities of the territorial development. Students receive specific knowledge about actual development tendencies in different regions of the Czech Republic as well as EU. Specific attention is dedicated to the questions of development potential of the territory. There are introduced the tools that can be used by different level of public administration to solve socio-economic problems of the territory. The students receive knowledge about legislativee and conceptula tools of regional and local development in CR as well as in EU.
- Syllabus
- 1. Regional analysis – objectives and methods of territorial analysis. 2. Theoret approaches to the regional development. 3. Tools of the support of the regional development (macroeconomic tools, microeconomic tools, administrative tools). 4. Concept of the regional development support(regional politics, structural funds, the objectives of regional policy). 5. Regional policy of CR (basic documents, legislative). 6. Institucional framework of the regional developpment support. 7. Actors of regional development. 8. Specifics of regional disparities in Czech Republic.

- The presence at the present studies programm is determinanet to the 80% of the lectures, in distance study programme to the 50% of the lectures.
