Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to understand and explain the basics of diplomatic protocol and konzulátrní practice. The following lecture courses from   history of diplomacy, international relations and international politics.
Syllabus
  • Social etiquette: 1 Dressing (tailcoat, tuxedo, jacket) - Social enterprises (working breakfast, lunch, glass of wine, a cocktail reception, dinner, public dinner) - 2 Social etiquette (meeting, presentation, business cards) Diplomatic protocol: 3 Diplomatic Relations - Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Diplomatic mission - 4 Diplomatic Protocol - Order ranks - Conference Komzulární practice: 5 Konzuární relations - 6 Specifics of some cultures (Islam, Judaism).

Teaching methods
Lectures and seminars to full-time studies, guided consultations on the combined form of study. Teaching Methods: Lecture: Summary of basic knowledge from previous lectures, private lecture, checking understanding of the new curriculum. Exercise with discussion and screening and supplementing students' knowledge. Controlled consultation: an initial review independently researched understanding of individual topics, explaining the least understood passages thematic whole discussion.

Assessment methods: from: credit based on attendance and final interview.
