Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will know the basic ideas and theories of insurance industry in   context. Will be able to understand and explain insurance as a "service", which is one of the   forms of protection of human society from the consequences of unforeseen incidents, marking the loss of life, health and property. Will be able to explain the basic categorization insurance from   terms of material and legal, context arising from the presence of   market premium as part of the financial market and the possibilities arising from the presence of   'Single European passport ".

Third Basic rules of private insurance and insurance in the Czech Republic. 4th Private insurance under the Insurance Act. 5th Private insurance pursuant to the insurance contract. 6th Insurance market, its structure and development in the Czech Republic and the EU single European passport. 7th life Insurance 8th Non-life insurance. 9th Liability insurance. 10th Insurance brokers, the distribution network. 11th Regulation and supervision in the insurance industry. 12th Trends in Insurance

Teaching methods
Lectures and exercises in full-time, controlled group consultations in combined form; minimum mandatory participation in exercises in full-time studies is 75%, the controlled group consultations in combined form 50%. "Lectures using power-point presentation.
Assessment methods
The course is concluded with an oral examination according to the instructions of the teacher, which will inform students in lectures.
