- Course objectives
- At the end of this course students should be able to understand and explain tendencies in financial services, principles od management of financial services providers a assess their financial performance. Studenst will be able to explain impact of central bank regulation on financial performance of financial services providers and understand principles of financial management.

- Teaching methods
- Teaching takes the form / lectures / seminars / workshops / full-time study / group consultations and managed in the form of study. Minimum mandatory attendance at seminars / workshops in full-time studies is 75%, at group consultations in combined form is 50%. Students who fail to meet the mandatory level of participation may be given during the semester additional study obligations (to the extent that will demonstrate academic achievement and acquired competencies necessary for successful completion of course).
- Assessment methods
- Seminars will focus on analyzing specific data characterizing the banking business, including data for international comparisons. The content of individual student work will be information from foreign literature and theoretical studies. Students will present their work at the last exercise in the form of papers with questions for repetition which help them remember important findings. Based on these individual works students receive credit. Students combined studies will prepare paper on individually selected topics from specified subject content. Prerequisite for credit will be submitting a seminar paper. Its presentation will be part of the final workshop. The test will take place in the form of a written test of knowledge in the range of the subject and will be followed by an oral form.
