Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
At the end of the course the student will be able: to explain the behavioral foundations of macroeconomics, macroeconomic equilibrium models and the advanced interpretation of macroeconomic instabilities and long-term growth, to work with formal modelling tools (graphs, application of mathematical methods), to make conclusions on macroeconomic development using analytical methods and abstraction.

Teaching methods
The course consists of lectures and seminars in full-time studies and group consultations in combined studies. Minimum mandatory attendance at the seminars is 75%, at the group consultations 50%. Students who will fail to meet the above stated mandatory attendance, will be given additional study obligations by the teacher to the extent that will demonstrate the required knowledge of the subject.
Assessment methods
Students complete the course with a credit test and an examination. The electronic credit test contains a section with questions (minimum of 6 points out of 10 must be obtained) and with calculations (minimum of 2 points out of 4). It is necessary to pass both sections of the test. The completion of the credit test enables the student to enroll for the examination. The examination has a written part (preparation) which is immediately followed by an oral part. The content of the examination is given in "Course content" (in "Teacher’s information").
