There are no prerequisites for this course. Students can pass the exam form the subject B_EK_2 only if they passe the exam from the subject B_EK_1.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The aim of the subjects is to introduce students with macroeconomics on the bachelor level. The students will be able at the end of the course: - to understand the sense of basic macroeconomics indicator (e.g. GDP, inflation, unemployment, balance of payment) - to explain other macroeconomics term (e.g. potential product, money, Phillips curve, Laffer curve) - to understand the issue of macroeconomic equilibrium: how the aggregate supply and aggregate demand are determined - to know the factors of long-term economic growth and short-term business cycle - to understand international macroeconomics issues a terms (e.g. exchange rate, external macroeconomic equilibrium) - to evaluate possibilities and limits of macroeconomics policies (especially fiscal and monetary policy) - to evaluate advantages and disadvantages of international collaboration (e.g. international free trade, common currency ...)

Teaching methods
Lectures and seminars on the present form of the study, consultations on the distant form of the study. Students should attend at least 60 % of the tuitions, otherwise they receive substitute homework.
Assessment methods
The subject is finished by credit and exam. The acquiring of credit is necessary condition for student to be able to take the exam. The student acquire the credit if (s)he pass two credit tests. Each question in the tests are scored, student have to receive minimum score to pass the test. The value of minimum score is mentioned in the test. The exam is verbal. The exam question are published in IS (information system) with minimal exam standards (the minimum knowledge that student must know to be able to pass the exam).
