- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to form in students the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in solving typical problems arising in traffic safety activities. Furthermore, to form in students the necessary skills and habits in the analysis of investigative situations, the choice of adequate means of their solution.
- Learning outcomes
- The student will be able to complete the course - identify and summarize the latest trends in traffic safety activities; - be aware of the overlap of traffic safety activities in practice to other forensic disciplines; - be aware of the ethical aspects of traffic safety activities.

- 1. Introduction to traffic safety activities 2. Traffic police service 3. Organizational structure of the traffic police 4. Supervision of road safety and smoothness 5. Investigation of traffic accidents 6. Traffic engineering activities 7. Forensic characteristics of traffic accidents 8. Typical investigative situations in traffic accidents 9. Transport of excessive loads 10. ADR transport of dangerous goods 11. Problems of expert activity in transport 12. Shipping

- Teaching methods
- Theoretical training, lectures, seminar exercises, seminar work, practical exercises
- Assessment methods
- The course is concluded by credit and an oral exam. Credit will be given to active participation in seminars. Required attendance at seminars is at KS 50%, and at PS 75% of all exercises. The criterion for an oral exam is successfully answering 1 out of 15 test questions.
