Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The course acquaints students with the scope and tasks of state and non-state security forces in the field of security, protection of life and health of the population, public order, property and other interests and democratic principles. The course clarifies the security system of the state, including its key actors. Attention is paid to current topics and practical issues related to safety practices. Current forms of crime, effective methods of repression and prevention, education and education of the population in connection with security, the role of commercial security entities and public involvement in the processes of ensuring security and public order are discussed.
Learning outcomes
Successful passing of the course exam will be performed by oral defense of an individually assigned topic and an oral examination of the issues discussed.
