- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The aim is to shape students' ability to orientate in the issue of securing and protecting public order in the society. Further the subject is focused on the introduction of fundamental problems threating public order, methods of fighting, mitigating and eliminating theses threats and crucial actors participating on these procedures on local, regional and state level. theoretical knowledge in solving typical problems forming in the forensic practice. Then shape the students the necessary skills necessary for the analysis of investigative situations, the choice of adequate means for their solution.

- 1. Introduction to the issue, the definition of public order and key terms related to security in society.
- 2. Protection of public order within the Police of the Czech Republic.
- 3. Organizational structure of the Police of the Czech Republic.
- 4. The riot police service, individual units, tasks and procedures in ensuring public order.
- 5. Legislative protection of public order.
- 6. Protection of public order from the point of view of the state.
- 7. Protection of public order within the independent competence of municipalities.
- 8. Public order and prevention.
- 9. The role of municipal police in ensuring public order.
- 10. Offenses in the field of public order, civil cohabitation and property.
- 11. Report on the situation in the field of internal security and public order in the Czech Republic.
- 12. Report on the situation in the field of migration and integration of foreigners in the Czech Republic.
