Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to: understand basic principles of computer graphics, implement in classic programming language the algorithms presented in the course
Syllabus
  • 1) Colors in computer graphics and color models
  • 2) Digitalization - sampling and quantization
  • 3) Raster image representation and compression
  • 4) Line
  • 5) Circle
  • 6) Curves and surfaces
  • 7) 2D closed areas filling
  • 8) Antialiasing
  • 9) Monochromatic visualization, halftoning and dithering
  • 10) Representation of 3D scenes
  • 11) Visualization of 3D scenes
  • 12) Testing

Teaching methods
Lectures and seminars in full-time study; tutorials in part-time study; compulsory seminar participation is 75% in full-time study, compulsory tutorial participation is 50% in part-time study
Assessment methods
Written test with limit 80% + oral exam verifying student knowledge that affects the final score
