- Course objectives
- The aim of this subject is to deepen knowledge of subject Management Infomation Systems B_MIS at the bachelor level on the VSFS.
After passing this subject will student be able to:
- describe and define the architecures of IS and their meaning
- explain the meaning of global hierarchical architecture and its relationship to design IS
- describe and explain the problems of system integration and strategic management IS
- explain the coupling and the relationship of IS architectures to designing IS
- describe and explain the components and stages of system integration
-explain the concept of linking business and information strategy, linking enterprise with environment and linking business and information processes.
- describe and explain the role and choice of system integrator, the meaning of centralized, decentralized and distributed information systems.
- describe the systems integration methodology in MMDIS: Different dimensions of integration, applications of MMDIS methodology - a conceptual model of IS development, tools of systems integration: Metainformation system. - Syllabus

- Lectures and seminars in full-time study.
Tutorials in part-time study,
Minimal required participation is 75% on seminars in full-time study and 50% on tutorials in part-time study.
Students with lower than required participation have to fulfill additional study duties. - Assessment methods
- The subject ends with assessment and examination.
Examination consists of written test.
Student is succesfull if his test is assesed by minimal 65 points of maximum 100. - Language of instruction
