- Cíle předmětu
- In this course students should acquire a basic knowledge and overview in the field of sociology. Students will become familiar with the conditions in which this scientific field was established t, as well as its founders and further evolution. In the course students will gain a basic sociological terminology (i.e. social structure, status, group, power, and equality), theories (i.e. classical theories such as Weber, Marx or function structuralism). In the course we will also specifically focus on the area of the sociology of organisation, as well as theories on politic and power.

- Metody hodnocení
- i) Active participation on no less than 75 % lectures/seminars. Participation will be condition for admission to written exam/test.
Note: Students with insufficient participation or with individual study plan will write an abstract/concept paper (2-5 pages) on selected sociological and/or economic or philosophical literature/book (that is related to the course topics and will be approved by teacher).
