The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with a comprehensive view of the extensive and internally significantly structured issues of social security and its regulation. Emphasis will be placed on the legal regulation of social rights of citizens in individual systems social security rights, both in terms of the amount of benefits and the activity of the bodies of state governance in matters of social security benefits.

Teaching methods
Lectures in full-time study; tutorials in part-time study; compulsory tutorial participation is 50% in part-time study.
Assessment methods
The course is concluded by exam in the form of a written test. The test consists of approximately ten questions. For successful completion of the test the student is required to obtain a minimum of 60% of the total number of points.
